Scripture says that teachers (of the faith, that is) are judged more harshly. The Pope as the pre-eminent teacher would logically be judged most harshly of all. I honestly pity Pope Francis at this point. Here is a man, called to lead the whole world to heaven, publicly working himself into hell. It saddens me greatly to see it.
Christ will rescue His Bride----and the way He has always done it so many times in our history, by raising up saints and martyrs ---- but I may not live to see it. We must be prepared to suffer. It will be a prolonged season of fasting and ashes, for as far ahead as I can see.
"I believe I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." Yet "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him."
