Which is illogical, for unless you hold to the typical RC strawman of SS, which supposes that the sufficiency part excludes the magisterial office, that,

Or that the validity of the interpretation of SS disciple is based upon ensured veracity, then SS does not mean every man is a pope, which I assume is the argument referred to.
And just where does Augustine address sola scriptura as it was formulated in the Protestant Reformation (not that he held to it)?
