I agree 100% with the Bible and Jesus’s statement, but not the author.
The author’s absurd statements are:
There is no problem with a scientist saying that these sorts of questions lie beyond science, that science is only focused on material and efficient causality. Each discipline does have its area of focus. The error of scientism is in its claims that science alone explains all reality; it does not.
First, I view science as the process of understanding “How God Works.” I see no contradiction between studying the Bible to understand how God works and studying science to understand how God works. The problem occurs when scientists play God and think they are in control, not God.
Secondly, the author’s argument that science can’t study religion as it is not material. Our perception of reality and what is real and/or material is a function of the frequency of consciousness of the person viewing. As a result of a death experience and much prayer and meditation, my frequency of consciousness allows me to perceive the souls of other people and human consciousness as a physical material object.
Fear, anger, guilt, and greed are much more dense objects than love and gratitude. They are more physically material.
There are many levels of density. It is ALL relative. We must let go of attachment to dense objects as in physical possessions and also dense thoughts like fear and anger. ( I view all the physical objects around me as belonging to God and I am merely His temporary custodian using them to serve His Will.)
Jesus taught us to raise our consciousness frequency by letting go of attachments to dense objects, whether seen or unseen as He could see them all as physical and knew they hindered our soul’s growth.
When I perceive a sin in a person’s soul, it is often like walking through a dark room and walking into a piece of furniture. It is physical, dense and hurts me if I do not raise above it.
This is far more complex than I can type on a wee little cell phone pad. My point is that the Bible can be understood through science and science can be better understood by using the Bible. The two fit together like masculine and feminine, and like a man and a woman, the two should be held together with Love. Love is the glue that holds the human soul together, and it too is physical.
The miracles described in the Bible are real, and they are also scientific. A miracle is merely science that our limited minds can not understand.
If I use this understanding of science to perform a miracle, I am not God. I am merely a better empty vessel so that God can work through me. My strength is in my weakness. If I am full of myself, I am weak. If I am empty, there is room for God in me. Thus you must be very humble to fully experience Jesus in you, and as He said in John 14, do the things that He did and even more with Him in you. As if Jusus is in us, then Our Father that is in Him is also in us. These are Jesus’s own words in John 14.
