What Hell did Christ descend to on Good Friday?
WHY do Roman Catholics refuse to accept the plain, simple fact that salvation is by grace through faith, not of works, lest anyone boast? It is not dependent in any way, shape, or form upon man’s effort. I’ll admit that if I believed in a Roman view of the inadequacy of Jesus Christ to save, then I guess I’d have to logically work Purgatory into my soteriology.
You mean that place that had the locked gates, whereby Jesus ripped the locks and gates clean off, never to be occupied again???
