When you have a variety of different belief systems, outside the Abrahamic trio, that contain stories of floods, virgin births, and death slash resurrection, how does Xianity get off calling the others ‘mythology’, when the same stories are held by Xians, as ‘truth’?

Xianity would be the worship of Malcolm, but I digress.

You seem to be confusing apples and oranges, I suspect. There are two separate issues here. First, for example, if there was a flood that covered the earth, it would not be surprising to find references to that flood in numerous histories of numerous cultures, since the flood would have affected the people who, e.g., eventually settled in India and fostered Hinduism as those who eventually settled in Israel and fostered Judaism.

On the other hand, references to death and resurrection may be found in numerous cultures, but there is only one reference which can be shown to have a great likelihood of being fact, and that is the reference to the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Since this is something you would need to check on your own, I will provide only one point. There were at least 500 people who saw Jesus after his death in living, bodily form. There is no evidence whatsoever that any of them ever recanted their testimony of this experience, most of them in the face of torture and death by the Roman Empire, which knew how to do torture and death quite well. People who are facing unnecessary death don't usually hold on to lies when letting go of them would give them back their lives. This leads to only one rational conclusion, which is that it wasn't a lie, it wasn't a myth, it actually happened, and the people who saw it happen said so, and continued to say so in the face of torture and death.

That is the difference between fact and myth, something that, e.g., supporters of Trump (as we all are here) should understand.

I don't expect this to convince you by itself, but I would only suggest you be willing to accept the truth wherever you find it, as I did 45 years ago.

Possibly because Christianity doesn't have stories of the gods being paederasts, or marrying their sisters, or eating their offspring, or of revealing the future based on the shape and color of animal entrails.
