Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
There are quite a few Hebrew Worship Words that have to do with JOY. This may come as a surprise to people who assume that the Old Testament is all "Doom and Gloom". Certainly there are many dire, apocalyptic passages that we could focus upon. But merely doing words pertaining to Music, Worship, and Prayer in alphabetical order has uncovered a delightful secret. The vast majority of these Hebrew Worship Words are joyous, exuberant, musical, action verbs and adjectives. Today's noun "Sameach" has become synonymous in Modern Hebrew as a Holiday or Celebration. It is included in the expression "Hag Sameach", which is appropriate for any happy holiday. It seems to be replacing the Yiddish "Gut Yontiff", which means basically the same thing.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)

Amen!!!
Psalm 122
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
1 I was glad when they said to me,
Let us go to the house of the Lord!
2 Our feet are standing
within your gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalembuilt as a city
that is bound firmly together.
4 To it the tribes go up,
the tribes of the Lord,
as was decreed for Israel,
to give thanks to the name of the Lord.
5 For there the thrones for judgement were set up,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
and security within your towers.
8 For the sake of my relatives and friends
I will say, Peace be within you.
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your good.
