Maybe because I’m fat it’s just hard to get enough oxygen through them and that’s why I get faint :)
I was hoping to blame it on something else :)

Have you ever worn a mask before? Two breaths in and all you can think about is the warm, humid air you're just breathing back in. Sure, gas passes through but not freely, and you're getting a good percentage of your exhalation coming right back in. Even the crappiest mask, like a woolen face warmer, does the same thing.
