The dhimmis...
Hagia Sophia (Greek for “Holy Wisdom”) is one of the most spectacular works of architecture ever built. When completed, Emperor Justinian said upon walking inside, “Solomon, I have outdone thee.” It has survived centuries of earthquakes that other churches did not. When you walk inside it, you wonder just how it could have possibly ever been created, especially in 537 AD. No wonder Ergodan wants to take it over. It belongs to the world.
1453 was a very bad year.
First, Haga Sophia was dedicated in 537 AD, 63 years before there even was a “religion” called Islam.
Second, go to google maps, enter Haga Sophia, Istanbul. Once there, ask for directions to The Blue Mosque. There is a much newer Mosque, just as big as Haga Sophia only 300 meters away.
Hey, it’s there country, but sheesh, they stop with all their lies to justify their actions meant to remedy their inferiority complex.
And yes, I wonder where all the Crusaders have gone.
It was built in the 6th century by the Byzantine Catholics. It was already 500 years old when the Eastern Schism occurred.
Then it was Eastern Orthodox for another 400 years. The fall of Constantinople to the Muslims was in 1453. At that point all its magnificant murals and frescoes were whitewashed over and it was converted into a mosque.
