“When I in awesome wonder
Consider all
The works Thy Hand hath made,”
....
Maybe billions of years and chance form mountains and sunsets and tree forms, but why do we look at them and see beauty?
Beauty even in what is dangerous, storms and deserts, oceans and ice bergs and cliffs? Beauty in the tiny and useless, a snow flake, a leaf hopper, the exquisite seed shell of a conch in egg case?
Because human beings are endorphin junkies. And experiencing something as beautiful releases endorphins. Keeps us relaxed.

Beautiful.
Magnificent.
I like that.
