Ironic that this letter was written on the Feast of St. Barnabas the Apostle, whose name literally means “son of encouragement”.
Not much encouragement in that epistle!
Oh good God.
But not unexpected from ELCA, or any “mainstream” church.
I fear, though, to check on Missouri Synod. Everywhere I turn is caving, caving, caving....and white-shaming.
