Abba! Father! Holy Lord of our salvation, your intercessors are mourning for our apostate nation, the apostate Western nations, and the nations of the world. All are aflame in revolutionary hatred, extreme egotism, arrogant defiance, destruction, and chaos, the work of the immoral seed of Satan energized by their father and his evil legions.

O Lord our God you have told us that as long as this world lasts, we are to be watching for Your advent, to be discerning the signs of all that happens around us. Above all we are to keep in mind the terrible sign of which the Apostle Paul speaks in Thessalonians:

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition…” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Though we discern the spreading apostasy we do not discern the Antichrist, O Lord. But we know that up to the time of his appearance there has been a continual undertaking on the part of Powers and Principalities to manifest the spirit of antichrist to the world:

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time…but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.” (1 John 2:18; 4:3)

Here in America, O Lord, we discern a fiercely evil energy at work everywhere that we believe to be an antichrist spirit of revolution working against Jesus Christ, creational mandates, law, the institution of the family, the children of light, the faith once given, and human life itself. Against this fierce spirit the powers of our government—the President, VP Pence, AG Barr, the Constitution, law-abiding men of good will, and our police—are nearly overwhelmed.

Lord Jesus, the antichrist spirit makes war against the Holy Trinity...the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which in Bakunin's words are the "cursed and fatal principle of authority." Thus the evil spirit proclaims the reign of nihilism, lawlessness, destruction, hatred, and chaos that is nevertheless pregnant with the expectation of fulfillment in the revelation, and finally the actual presence, of evil personified...the Antichrist.

Thus, energized by the antichrist spirit the children of darkness reject You as Father and Savior and audaciously proclaim, "I am I, I come out of myself, and in choice and action I make myself." (Daniel Bell, quoted by Herbert Schlossberg in "Idols for Destruction," p. 43)

We can see that the antichrist spirit is the reverse of the Way, Truth, and Life. Whereas Christian faith is virtuous self-control, joy, patience, love, truth, humbleness, perseverance, submission in all things to the Will of God, and blessed eternal life, the antichrist counterfeit requires no self control and presents idolatrous vices, ingratitude, victim ideology, lies, sophistry, revulsion, burning envy, seething hatred, jealousy, rebelliousness, blasphemy, murderous intent as good and damnation.

In this light we can see that, energized by dissatisfaction with self, the world, society, and You O Lord, the antichrist spirit fuels the children of darkness with strange fire; fantasies of “progress, change, and utopia" or as Marx put it: the destruction of everything that exists in order that a paradise can arise out of the ashes.

Heavenly Father, we also see that through the deep church the antichrist spirit intends to fully possess the Christian faith and refashion it completely into a Christless Christianity. Unless stopped, the antichrist spirit will work until every vestige of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ has been obliterated in every heart.

Abba! Father! Your intercessors cry out to you: You are our God, Lord of our salvation; please hear our pleas for mercy! Shield your church, little children, America, President Trump, VP Pence, AG Barr, children of light and all people of good will in the midst of the antichrist revolution.

Please O Lord, we fall before Your almighty throne humbly beseeching You: please O Heavenly Father, let it be Your will to throw down the spirit of antichrist and the children of darkness that they not attain their evil desires. Sovereign Lord, Your intercessors cry out to you: please Father God; do not let the antichrist revolution succeed! Send the Powers and Principalities back into the pits from which they came and make the children of darkness fall into the pits they have dug.

In the Blessed and Sovereign Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
