“See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes.” (Malachi 4:5)

And Jesus follows up on this: Matthew 17:10-12 The disciples asked him, "Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?" Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands."

Today is the first day left of the end leading up to the end times.

We may very well be in the birth pains prior to the tribulation. There is no 7 year agreement with Israel that I’m aware of.

Give Israel a break. After 2000 years of non-existence they finally got their country back and it’s only been like 72 years.

Mostly, the tribulation is about the salvation of the Jewish nation.

Note that in the Jewish view, the dire events of ‘birthpangs of the Messiah’ need not come to pass at all, depending on the state of repentance among the Jewish people.

And note the dire statements about the destruction of the nations.

The Jewish End Times will be marked by Christians pretending they are Jews, creepy “Messianics” like crook Eckstein raising money for “Poor Holocaust Survivors in Israel,” and every dingbat with a pulse, a crucifix, a little bible study and a GED rattling on about “Yeshua” and “The Blood Moons.”

“Have the Jewish End Times Begun?”

Yes, but for everyone else the end of the world as we know it will be later - so carry on.

Many have already forgotten about this, but remember Revelation chapter 12, and the Great sign in the stars which occurred on Sept 27, 2017.

We were all disappointed that nothing seemed to come of that or the blood red moon tetrads, but it HAD to mean something...

Maybe a marker for the beginning of the end???

Its the only thing that makes sense to me.

By the time we “know” it will be too late.

What if Elijah came back to Chicago...and got caught in the cross fire?

“The End Times, for many Christians, brings to mind the Rapture, Tribulation, the Second Coming, and Judgement Day.”

Well, three out of four ain’t bad.

The End Times, for many Christians, brings to mind the Rapture, Tribulation, the Second Coming, and Judgement Day.

>The sequence you have is the pretrib one, the popular modern view.

For Historic Premillennialists such as myself, it is: the Tribulation, the second coming and rapture, the millennial kingdom, and Judgement Day. Both second coming and rapture taking place after the tribulation. The second coming and rapture ushering in the millennial kingdom.

What I have related is the historic view of the early centuries of Christianity... see this youtube video:

"The building of a Third Temple in Jerusalem"

Are there any estimates on how long it would take the Jews to build the new Temple?

Amos 5
18 Woe to you who long for the Day of the LORD! What will the Day of the LORD be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
19 It will be like a man who flees from a lion, only to encounter a bear, or who enters his house and rests his hand against the wall, only to be bitten by a snake.…

20 Will not the Day of the LORD be darkness and not light, even gloom with no brightness in it?…

Have the Jewish End Times Begun?

Venahafoch hu:

The truth [EMT] will be rare and the face of that generation will be as the face of a dog.

Exo 3
2. And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed:
3. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt:
4. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses; And he said, Here am I:

"I'm Okay!"

If you’re asking according to the Jews, why bring any New Testament in this thread at all?

I invite all non-Jews in this thread to come fulfill the prophesy of Zech 8:23 and grab the hem of my shirt— bring nine friends! Beg to learn Torah!

Let’s get past Catholic and Protestant. Let’s get to G-d. There are seven mitzvas (general commandments) for every man on earth. Now come let us learn.
