The FSSP church shut down because the bishop ordered it. I have nothing but contempt for bishops who buckled to civil authorities in the matter, but an FSSP priest in a parish setting cannot disobey the local bishop.
The SSPX approach was inconsistent. Some of their biggest churches including their flagship location in St. Marys, Kansas were closed.
Thats really the problem with the SSPX. As a schismatic organization is has a limited ability to enforce a coherent approach to anything.

Any priest, or lay catholic, can, and should, disobey an unlawful order that harms the sacramental life of Catholics.

You have nothing but contempt for bishops who buckle, yet you give a pass to the priests who buckle to those same bishops.
