I’m no fan of the Red Pope but in fairness, this at least is something I don’t think can be fairly laid on him. If there is a church anywhere from the village street corner all the way up to national organization, that is not experiencing some kind of financial challenges right now, I’d like to know who they are and how they are managing it.
Our parish is in great shape unless the bishop appropriates our savings in the diocesan bank, even if, we have a chunk of money in a local account.
