I know I’m coming to this thread a little late but, when I see something stated such as this, it screams AntiChrist. As Simon said in the temple with the babe - THEN was Christ revealed to the Jews and the world. This speaks more like Daniel and Revelation of the coming AntiChrist that will attempt to deceive the Jews, except for the two prophets and the 144,000 that will boldly declare Jesus as the true Messiah.

Outstanding point! What better way for the AntiChrist to deceive the Jews and the world than to fulfill prophecies of the scriptures, including the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple. The AC will be arranging thing for the 3rd Temple with Islam and the Jews, as has been speculated by some.
However, it is my understanding as a pre-millenialist that the building (or maybe the completion) of the 3rd Temple will be be post rapture.
That said, I still expect to be here to see what is going to be some seriously BAD times ahead. Call it a pre-tribulation, medium to very BAD.

The temple will be rebuilt...only tradition says it will be rebuilt over the Dome of the rock...there is no verse in the Bible that says it will be rebuilt where the Dome of the Rock is now. The Temple could be rebuilt off to the side at the place of the wailing wall.
I think the temple will be rebuilt and may be in operation for some time before the rapture and the tribulation.How long(?)... who can say. Some younger Israeli officials argue it doesn’t have to be rebuilt exactly on the Dome of the rock pointing out that the Bible doesn’t exactly express that it be done so. So except for God’s timing, there are actually no physical and locational impediments for the rebuild to commence.

Goren had been a ‘build the Third Temple’ enthusiast until he got to study the Temple Mount close up immediately after the ‘67 war.
After he had done much close up study, in reaction to the activities of groups preparing for the Temple today by recreating the Temple garments and artifacts, Goren quoted the Book of Ecclesiastes: “All is vanity and a striving after the wind.”

Sure it could happen that way but it doesn’t say exactly that it happens that way. The Bible doesn’t say exactly at what point in thee end times that the temple starts to be rebuilt only that it get s rebuilt in the “latter days”.
Perhaps it does get rebuilt over the Dome...perhaps an earthquake takes it out.
We only know that it does get rebuilt. Where that happens is conjecture and a reliance on tradition or traditionalist sentiment.
The Bible doesn’t even say that it is a good thing that the temple gets rebuilt...since sacrifices are restarted which is a rejection of the final sacrifice of Jesus for our sins! Yet we do know that God is terribly displeased when the Beast commits the abomination of desolation there.
He is only one man and elderly(if he’s even still alive). The young “hotheads” may very well get their say like they tried to do in 2002 when they set up a ceremonial corner stone by the wailing wall.
The rebuilding of the temple itself isn’t touted by the Bible as a good thing since the temple sacrifices that get restarted are a rejection of the blood sacridice of Jesus Christ for the remission of the sins for all mankind. All references in the Bible to it are neutral. God does get displeased when the beast sets himself up in the temple and calls himself God.
