Wish we could bring back El Cid. Spain has been under Socialist rule since 1981, six years after the death of Francisco Franco. The Spaniards have gone squishy, to put it mildly.
They just removed Franco’s remains from the Valley of the Fallen and have a serious Muslim problem invading from North Africa. The Reconquista has been forgotten.
Catalonia wishes to break away from Madrid with the help of its Muslim minority, the largest in Europe. They promise a mega-mosque for their Muslims should they succeed.
Cordoba Cathedral has been invaded by jihadis before. Sheikh Sultan bin Skyhook’s public demand is going to cause trouble. Sure hope the Guardia Civil is on alert.
