I was stationed in Turkey 1971 - 1973, and I can tell you they are among the most insular people on the planet, and they are extremely nationalistic, to the point of an obsession.

The only realistic options are a Crusade to free European Turkey and to restore Constantinople OR to accept the Islamic conquest of 1453 and live in peace with the mosque.

Appeals to 20th century internationalist secularist blather are stupid. Those days are over.

It’s a mosque or a church. And long, long before Christianity is restored in Constantinople it has to be restored in Paris, in London, in Geneva, and, yes. in Rome.
