Was visiting Arutz Sheva this early afternoon and, after reading the news, my focus went to today's date: Av 19, 5780, the Jewish Calendar or Hebrew lunar calendar. I began some research first into just Av 19, 5780, and ended up finding a lot of helpful information to increase my understanding of how the Lord God directed the marking of time by mankind as told in His Word.

The day is pretty easy to figure out, even critters have that one down. The month, is also pretty easy, one new moon (or really the first visible slice of a new moon) is also reasonably easy. And the fact that women’s monthly cycles seem to pretty much the same as a lunar month also would attention.

And the week follows the month. New moon to half moon (1st quarter) is 7 days, half moon to full moon is 7 days, and so on.

A solar year is very hard to figure out which is why so many early civilizations never did. You need to be able to keep records over long periods of time, or at least be able to mark the rising sun’s location at its furthest northern or southern point and to be clever enough to know the info is important. Not impossible, but much more difficult than the pretty reliable moon.

Also there are seven appointed festivals that tell a story of harvest through judgment and rebirth. Repeating those year after year makes the picture more clear.

Typically the year begins the first new moon following the first sighting of the abib (ripe) barley. Occasionally an extra month is added to the calendar to help sync the yearly events.

It’s a pretty interesting study.

The one thing the Jewish Calendar misses is Ezekiel 46.
He separates the New Moon Day from His 6 work days and His 7th Day Sabbath.

And the answer to why He taught that to Ezekiel is found in Revelation 12.

The Word became flesh on a New Moon Day, according to that sign in the heavens.

And we now know why He told Ezekiel New Moon Days were to be different from the 6 work days.
The New Moon Days each month commemorate Genesis 1:1, John 1:1 and with that Revelation sign, John 1:14

Then the answer to why Israelite boys were to be cicumcised on the 8th day becomes clearer.
Because Christ was to be circumcised on the 8th day of the month,which is the 7th Day Sabbath.

8 days old and the Word Made Flesh was born on an appointment day and circumcised on an appointment day.

And the appointment days just keep happening in His life.
Rehearsals that Israel was taught to prepare them for the Messiah of Israel,the Word made Flesh.

Wait till they understand Passover is the 6th Day and Rome’s Friday isn’t.
The pattern in Ezekiel confirms it.

And so does the Son. The Word Made Flesh.

July 4th, 1776 was the 17th of Tammuz.

The Torah begins with an enlarged letter bet, which as a numeric analog corresponds to the larger value of the letter bet. Normally bet = 2, but it is also used to represent 2000, which = “United States of America.”

Genesis 1:4 = 1776:

Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

1776 is also verse 3 along with the first part of verse 4:

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good:

As far as calendar dates, “the 4th of July” is the same letters as “a Jewish heart.” That sum is 67, same as the year that JerUSAlem was reunited, east with west. 6/7/67

There’s always way more than people expect. In whole numbers, 1776 ft. = 541m (541 = Israel), as noted on the One World Trade Center wiki page, second paragraph.
