Among those chosen for statues were Marsha Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, whose original names were different because they were born as men, later becoming “transgendered” and distinguishing themselves as “sex workers.” In 2015, Marsha Johnson became the first transvestite to have his portrait hung in the National Gallery.

It is a destruction of the concept of free speech, normalizing violence and destruction if you violate the social norms set by those in power. It leads to death to the blasphemer against social justice and sacred victim groups.
