Heavenly Father –
We see the Thin Blue Line of law, order, truth, and justice swept away with the chaos and violence stirred up by the godless. Those who promote good as evil and evil as good.
Like the dark and troubling days of World War II, we’ve heard stories and seen movies of our parents, grandparents, relatives, the greatest generation. Most who have passed away, but fought and sacrificed, home and abroad. And they soldiered on because:
It still is
In these dark days and troubling times, we look up to You, Lord, for our help. And we take comfort that darkness will not last.
And we hold to the promise in Malachi 4:2:
And as we pass the 75th anniversary of VJ Day (victory over Japan), may we catch a glimpse that the shadow of darkness is passing and the Light of victory is dawning with the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior.
We rest in that You, Lord, are Sovereign and will work things for good. And through the power of the Holy Spirit, bring conviction, revival, and healing in our land.

AMEN! There is VICTORY in JESUS. . . Remembering my Father and Mother, both WWII Veterans, who instilled in us the love of God, Family, and Country.
On that note Lord Jesus, I pray You restore our historical memory back into the consciousness of this nation! That days like VJ Day be marked, observed, acknowledged, and contemplated by the masses. Please renew our sense of reverence for the past, and for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. May we be a people that *stands* in this temporal earthly hour for the national anthem, but kneel and bow into eternity to You and Your kingdom.
Praying for the integrity of the upcoming elections. That President Trump and Vice President Pence win a swift, uncontested *landslide* victory — as well as conservatives in heated races across the country. I pray that by this time next year, conservatives will make up the majority in the House, Senate, and Supreme Court.
Praying for Pastor John Macarthur of Grace Community Church - for the LORD’s favor to surround him and his congregation like a shield as they legally challenge CA Governor Gavin Newsom’s draconian measures and double standards against churches.
As we walk through the dark, we'll hold our heads up high, and not be afraid of the storms. For at the end of the storm is a golden sky and the sweet singing of a lark. O Lord! We'll look up, for You will and are coming for us! Longing and waiting for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

FATHER, please bless our Veterans. They asked for little yet gave so much.
Their numbers, dwindling, their sacrifices, forgotten by younger generations.

We lift up our firefighters in California and ask for their safety and swift victory over the inferno.
We lift up our beloved President and ask that he be showered in wisdom, protection, and remain strong in spite of the hysteria and deception.
Dear Lord, we ask that this nation vote not for destruction, but to be restored One Nation Under God.
