It’s pretty futile to try to use current events to “read into” ancient prophecy and make predictions based on one’s assumptions.
Many people have been doing this and have been inevitably wrong. I’ve read about the Pope being the antichrist, Hitler being the anti-Christ, even Ronald Reagan being the antichrist ( because you see, his full name is Ronald Wilson Reagan <— 6 characters in each name resulting in the number: 666 ).
Yes, this nonesense today is an attempted marxist takeover. There are far more of us than them. When they (leftists) get very brutal, and they will, the pushback will be overwhelming and final.
