RE: A religion dedicated to the decapitation of no-believers doesn’t bod well for world peace.
Here’s my view — You cannot conduct foreign policy under the assumption that Muslims will always lie and not keep their promises when they sign an accord. With that attitude, you might as well continue on a war footing with all your neighbors in the region.
Better to stay STRONG and VIGILANT militarily while maintaining peaceful relations.
Israel has done that with Egypt for over 3 decades and with Jordan for over 25 years. There’s no reason she can’t do it with other Muslim nations as well.
BUT EVEN SO, NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN!!

Muslims will keep their agreements... but only so long as they think they have no hope of victory. That’s the only condition under which the Koran allows them to make peace treaties with infidels, and even then, the treaties can only be temporary.
If you negotiate with Muslims believing that they operate under any other set of rules, then you are just deluding yourself.
