I’ve been telling family/friends “if you have any business to do with God; do it...quickly”.
Starting with myself of course.
Lord have mercy on us all!
Absolutely 100%!
Excellent advice FRiend!
Prior to the 1800s the view of post-tribulational says the rapture will come after the tribulation, or at the Final Judgment when Christ returns. This last view is correct one, IMO.
The tribulation is the pouting out of Gods wrath on the evil u repentant worls. The Bible tells us an Christians we are not appointed to wrath
Guaranteed, take it to the bank, 100% certainty. It's an unbiblical myth. Get over it.
Teh wrath doesn't begin until the 1st Bowl of Wrath.
thats rich coming from a roman catholic in a denomination that specializes in non biblical myths
which is during the Tribulation.
I love your blurbs, your attempts to keep the Evangelism current.
In my opinion though, I don’t believe in pre-tribulation “rapture”. Do you think it makes a difference in where you will spend eternity?
Conversely, what happens to those who await this “rescue”, and we face the wrath of the Son of Perdition? Will they lose their faith if they have to endure tribulation and be ready to STAND in the face of what is to come?
I see it as negligible, as long as we all “continue to work in the field” (Earth) until taken home. There is a slight danger in getting complacent, being saved and baptised at Church, but not with the Spirit.
Hi G2Bnuts!
You don’t need to believe in a rapture, nor does it make any difference in your eternal destiny.
Jesus however did scold the Pharisees and the Saducees for not knowing time Messianic Times they were living in. We are also told to be ready and watch (Luke 12:35-40) since when He returns it will be like a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 3:3; Revelation 16:15)
And it will be sudden when He returns (Matthew 24:37-39 & Luke 17:26-27).
What happens to those who await His rescue?
Let’s suppose the rescue does happen. I believe it does.
Well if you look forward to Christ’s Return, you already have a crown waiting for you in eternity (2 Timothy 4:8).
Let’s suppose it doesn’t. Then those who are true Christians will have to face what’s coming right? But interestingly Jesus also said there will be a lie told that will be so great during the Tribulation, that even the “elect” would be deceived.. If it were possible.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Why does it say “if it were possible”? What would possibly prevent them from falling for that lie?
Just some food for thought.
We all get complacent at times, I’m guilty of it. If you’re saved, then the Holy Spirit will dwell in you and convict you. God numbers our days and will work out a wonderful work in each of us. Salvation cannot and will not be lost.

As you put it, the end result is the same, but I believe wholeheartedly in the Blessed Hope that is the Rapture of The Church of Christ.
God took Enoch before the flood.
God saved Noah and his family from the flood.
God took Lot and his family from Sodom before its destruction.
It’s just not in His Character to destroy His Righteous Children with the wicked.
YMMV and that’s fine.
I left the Roman Catholic Church for a number of myths they taught.
It’s pretty insulting that most of the “tradition” they teach isn’t even Biblical, more like fairy tales.
Funny you mock a Biblical Teaching and call it a myth, but fall for real myths.
How’s that vial of Mary’s blood working out for you next to your rosary and scapular?
I never had a vial of Marys blood. 😁🤪👎 I did, however, have my rosary and scapular. Since those are myths, I dont do them anymore. 😁
Yours is the first “somewhat understandable” position on a pre Trib rapture for me. However, my doubts about it would not disqualify me from partaking, if it was to occur.
I imagine the book of Daniel would reveal the truth or falsehood of a pre Trib rapture, as the Lord always confirms His Word by His Word.
I think I understand why this happens and why your observation has no convincing power to me. The mystery of iniquity is already at work, but though it always looks like evil is winning and the end is upon us, it never quite works out for them. The Holy Spirit "lets" or restrains until He is taken out of the way.
The calamities which overtake the world will not happen "because" of the Rapture of the church but simultaneously with it because the Spirit no longer restrains. The Horsemen of the apocalypse are kicking at the corral in a thousand places, when the HS allows it, one of those places will give way and then we will say, "I knew it!"
We remember Edgar Whisnant and his book "88 Reasons Why the Rapture will be in 1988". OK so he was wrong, but only for one reason: God did not allow it.
so 2020 is a warning of the coming of “The Last Days”?
G2BNuts is a fine FReeper and worthy of respect, a credit to our forum, all fine things should be said of him etc.
I suggest for him the same that I give to Calvinists, by which I mean “hyper-Calvinists”, and so-called “old earth creationists”. Please tell your God to rewrite the Bible to reflect what you believe to be the truth. He really should have known better. I recognize that he could say the same thing to me but there is a difference, our belief in the perspicuity of Scripture.
To Calvinism- “The Institutes of the Christian Religion” is perfectly clear. God should have written that instead of the Bible. Maybe you could get Him to fix that.
To OEC- If He did not make the world in six days and did not do it in the Genesis order He should have said so. Maybe you could get Him to fix that.
To Anti-Dispensationalists- If we aren’t supposed to look for His imminent return, maybe you could get Him to add another chapter to one of the Epistles fixing the false impression He gave us.
I can accept that I may have it wrong, but when we see it all come to pass, they will certainly be shown wrong.
I hear the Calvinist saying that Christ’s offer of salvation to the lost is a charade.
I hear the OEC saying that the creation story is some obscure poetry which they can take to mean anything they want.
I hear the Anti-dispensationalist taking the same approach to the prophecy, not just about the Rapture but much more of it.
If one is not convinced of the peril of their sin, they won’t see the need for a Savior. Waving a “The End Is Near” sign is not going to convince anyone of the grievous nature of their sin. A man swimming towards a deadly unseen rip tide has no need of a lifeguard at that moment.
I’m not waving any sign. And I’d rather say something to them than just quietly condemn them to hell. One never knows how one’s words can effect someone’s heart.
And if their heart is hardened; God will deal with them.
