I know that God can deliver us, but I've never understood modern Christians that believe God will deliver us. We have murdered 65 million babies and allowed sodomites to marry. Church attendance has decreased over 20% in the last 10 years. We claim to be 80% of the population yet we can't win an election. Even the pope is flirting with making sodomy legal. At some point God will punish His people.

People keep talking about "Grace", but you don't get a Mulligan for outright sin.

If you ask a Christian about Solomon, most of them will have a good opinion of him recounting the story of splitting the baby and asking for wisdom instead of money. But the truth is, if you read the story of Solomon, God gave him everything and got nothing for it. Solomon built his Temple, but David provided all the materials and he completed the Temple after his own homes in Jerusalem and Lebanon were finished, plus a house for his first wife, Pharaoh's daughter. Lebanon is significant because the "King of Tyre" was there. Ezekiel tells us that's where Lucifer was. If you read Deut 17 (I think), it will list the rules for Kings of Israel to follow. Solomon broke all of them. He married 700 wives and 300 concubines and none of them were Hebrew. His wives brought their gods and altars with them and changed Solomon's heart. The amount of gold paid to Solomon each year was 666 talents of gold. His personal friend that helped him build the Temple was the King of Tyre. Solomon gave 20 cities to Hiram and he didn't want them. By the time Salomon died, there were altars to Baal and Moloch all over Israel, even on the roof of the Temple. His wives were sacrificing Solomon's own children to Baal. Israel ended up divided into 2 nations. The Northern Kingdom built 2 golden calf's to worship so people wouldn't try to go to Jerusalem to worship.Read Eze 16 to see what God thought of all this.

We must ask ourselves how long God will wait before Judgement falls? Could Biden/Harris be Gods judgement? Why do we blindly believe God will just forget about what has been allowed to go on in America? We didn't repent after 9-11. We didn't repent after the financial collapse in 2008. Is anybody repenting after the virus has killed 300,000? Did we miss the part about God punishing those He loves? God could straighten all this out in a moment, but why should He?

My read on this is, If Trump wins, He has given us 4 more years to REPENT!!, If Biden takes over, It's too late,... Punishment is here.

If we don't think this will end in civil war, we are fooling ourselves. 600,000 died in the first civil war. How many do you think would die today?

I could recount many more times God punished His people in history, but most of us still think we don't deserve it. You can ask an axe murderer if they think they will go to heaven and they most likely say yes because God is good. They will explain that they only killed one and he deserved it. Then they will explain they are a good person. We are doing the same thing. We can't explain to God why we allow baby killers and sodomites to lead our country. If we won't repent on our own, He will bring us to our knees one way or another.

Because we naturally feel that we are special. We feel God has chosen us and will always give us the desires of our hearts because He favors us because we are an “exceptioal nation”. We think He will always overlook our “small indescretions”, and we simply don’t take sin seriously anymore because “nothing greatly terrible has happened in our generation to this nation really”.

We aren’t special, and He wont overlook our sins as a nation. Not many like to hear that because we prefer to think that God has taken a shine to us because we are an exceptional nation. But that is t he truth. Were not special, and God doesn’t wink at our sins

I totally agree with you. Good summation. We know the story of Gideon gives us courage (at least to me) that a small amount (a remnant) of God’s elect, can bring about God’s will, which IS good, even when we’re not. We are called to repent and need to but there’s a scripture that says ‘does not God’s goodness lead to repentance?’ Chicken meet egg :)
