Pfleger was ordained as a priest in 1975 and took over St. Sabina six years later when he was 31.
The same year (1981) he began his post at St. Sabina, he adopted an eight-year-old son, Lamar.
And the abuse occurred 40 years ago?
Do the math.
I sure didn’t like this guy. Glad to see him out of his position and hopefully off the streets.
I recall this priest being ordered by his Bishop to change parishes. This priest simply and loudly refused to obey the Bishop’s order, saying the people at his present church
needed him more than the new church. I think he got away with this defiance for quite a few months.
I also recall around 2007 during the campaign when he made some kind of uncouth remarks about Hilary. Father Phleger was always solidly behind Obama.
His friendship with Obama is suddenly starting to make sense
His chickennnnnnnnnnnsssssssss have come home to roost.
I have a real problem with accusations from four decades ago, even when the accused is as big a jerk as Pflegler. There are innocent priests whose lives have been destroyed by false accusations. Of course, priests who do abuse children should be sent up the river.
This priest is a bizarre loser. He is white, yet speaks with a pronounced black accent.
Are we surprised?
Rachael Dolezal feels his pain.
She too ‘identifies’ as being black.
A long term lie that eventually cost her job.
Yeah, a self hating white cuck. We’ve seen his type before.
This priest is a bizarre loser. He is white, yet speaks with a pronounced black accent.
Didn’t he “adopt” a son in violation of church law? And didn’t the kid die? Dollars to donuts he was being sodomized by Fager.
Pfleger is a psychopath. I remember his rants from decades ago. He is the Chicago equivalent to Rev. Warnock of Georgia.
Now we have to ask of both of them, “Would you trust your young children with these men”? If the answer is “Yes”, then you’re a Democrat.
#10. “He’s brain-dead, Jim” only the mouth kept going on.
He ministered to Judge Napolitano.
Or they compared notes.
‘
Seems like the old ways were/are the best in dealing with this abomination.
(And I am not Catholic.)
Saw that on Illinoiscarry.com yesterday. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. < /sarc>
I’m with you on this. Faithful priests are often smeared by false accusations. I saw this happen locally and the Bishop (Wuerl) used the falsehood to change a conservative parish by installing a wreaking ball leftist priest there.
Pflegler should have been removed years ago for stuff we know he did.
Each diocese is largely independent.
Conservatives can reform the diocese of their choice. Not much is stopping them
But not Chicago
