I LOATHE this Fr. Pflegler guy, but we can't read anything into the fact that the Church is paying for the (alleged) victim's counseling or providing counseling for the (alleged) victim. That's just the way it goes once these accusations are made.

I have a real problem with accusations from four decades ago, even when the accused is as big a jerk as Pflegler. There are innocent priests whose lives have been destroyed by false accusations. Of course, priests who do abuse children should be sent up the river.
