In this Third Chapter of Timothy, Paul writes to both warn and encourage believers in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior about what will transpire in the Last Days before His Return. Beloved, our Lord and Savior Jesus' Return is so imminent, so close, that it could happen at any moment! May the Holy Spirit inspire and encourage you, those who have not decided to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, to do so. Your eternal spirit--the real you, which looks out from your physical eyes, which is your self-awareness within that "earth suit" that you walk this Earth in, is at stake. There IS a real Hell and a real Heaven, and the only Way to The Father is through Jesus Christ, the only way that you, either physically at what is called the Rapture (which means "a catching away", and will be exactly that!) or if you die, you will be raised up.
Jesus, who gave His Life, the Ultimate Sacrifice of Love, so that we can walk with Him and be under His Gracious and Awesome protection on earth, and be with Him in Heaven when He Returns, awaits with ever-open arms, like in the Parable of the Prodigal Son, who stood and awaited his son who had left and indulged himself in the things of the world. Shed the horrors, mayhem and burdens of this fallen world and run into the Loving Embrace of Jesus Christ! There is nothing you have done that He cannot or will not forgive, and you can truly, finally LIVE the true Life that Father God intended that all mankind should live from the foundation of the world.
Vs.1) "THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
Vs.2) "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,"
(Vs.3) "Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (defined here as lacking self-control or moderation), fierce, despisers of those that are good,"
Vs.4) "Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers pleasures more than lovers of God;"
Vs.5) "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
Vs.6) "For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, lead away with divers lusts."
Vs.7) "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Vs.8) "Now as Jan'nes and Jam'bres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith (Or, of no judgment [Romans 1:28])"
Vs.9) "But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was."
Vs.10) "But thou hast fully known (Or, thou hast been a diligent follower of) my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,"
Vs.11) "Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at I-co'ni-um, at Lys'-tra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me."
Vs.12) "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
Vs.13) "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
Vs.14) "But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;"
Vs.15) "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."
Vs.16) "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
Vs.17) "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished (Or, perfected) unto all good works."

Vs.11) "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and h that is holy, let him be holy still."
Vs.12) "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as is work shall be."
Vs.13) "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
Vs.14) "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
Vs.15) "For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolators, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."
Vs.16) "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."
Vs.17) "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
Vs.18) "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:"
Vs.19) "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
(Vs.20) "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus."
Vs.21) "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."
Amen, and AMEN!
We are there! Even at the door.
There is so much to learn and discover as well in the Book of Revelation concerning the Church Age Dispensation and where we are at today. Revelation chapters 2 & 3. Notice how Jesus is first described in the middle of the candlesticks and in this present age (Laedecean) He is described outside knocking on the door. Advance to chapter 4 verse 1 and we hear the trumpet call, come up hither.
Paul warns us in these last days of a great falling away. But a remnant shall be saved. Hold fast that which you have been given. In due time, in the twinkling of an eye....

There are many who rightly say that the Laodicean professing church is not even comprised of believers, only professors. One reason is that Christ asserts that He WILL spue them out of His mouth. His message is individualized in 3:20 because the modus of the Church is to exclude the Lord.
In the message to the church of Sardis,
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
However, in the message to the church of Laodicea, the warning is given,
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
We have free will to choose our Eternal destiny. And that free will continues even after our conversion. Many will turn away. I believe there are many examples in the 5 churches. Albeit two are overcomers of the seven.
I think the two following Scriptures highlight the response. We can either have our sins blotted out through repentence or our name blotted out of the Book of Life through rebellion.
I’m aware there are those who view eternal security as unconditional.
Acts 3:
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Rev 3:
