Connecticut Ends its State Religious Vaccine Exemption

Connecticut will no longer allow a religious exemption from childhood immunization requirements for schools, colleges and day care facilities, becoming the sixth state to end that policy.

The legislation was signed into law Wednesday by Gov. Ned Lamont, hours after the Democratic-controlled Senate passed the bill late Tuesday night. More than 2,000 opponents had rallied outside the state Capitol building, arguing the legislation unfairly infringes on their religious liberties and parental rights.

“Proud to sign this bill into law to protect as many of our school children as possible from infectious diseases as we can,” Lamont said in a tweet, announcing he had signed the contentious bill.

Shortly afterward, two groups opposing the legislation — We The Patriots USA, Inc. and The CT Freedom Alliance, LLC. — said they plan to file state and federal lawsuits seeking to overturn the new law, which will take effect with the 2022-23 school year.

If it’s all about CoVID, then why wait until the 2022 school year? The “pandemic” is NOW, FFS! This is further proof it’s all about control!

It’s approved for EMERGENCY USE ONLY

How is a virus in which 40-60% of the population is asymptotic and if they do get sick, it’s 99.97% survivable.

How is this an emergency? And there is zero proof the “vaccine” actually works

Its a swipe at religious folks, folks who dont want to participate in medical experiments, and folks who won’t blindly accept govt politicized “science”.

If the state says you don’t have a religious exemption to avoid an experiment in order to enter a school, the reverse is true - the state cannot tax you for that school either.

Welcome to CT—ruled by lefties.

They make the s&^% up as they go along—and the corrupt judges enforce it.

This stupid virus is going away—the state is fighting the last war....just to prove they can f(*& over the public.

Article VI:
“....no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

Row 1, Seat 3 in Ms. Lehrerin’s public school first grade classroom might be considered such an office if the school receives federal funds (or must be so treated under Amendment XIV equal protection if any Connecticut public school receives federal funds).

If Mary has truly been vaccinated against M, neither Mary or anyone else should have any reason to care if Mark hasn’t.

“Proud to sign this bigoted bill into law to protect ostracize as many of our school children as possible from by weaponizing infectious diseases as demonically as we can,” Lamont said in a tweet that wasn't pulled for violating community standards, announcing he had signed the contentious Marxist bill.

My dictionary has:

“office...1. a place where business is transacted or professional services are available....”

Are you a professional, Ms. Lehrerin?

Yes! And I ought to be paid as much as a doctor or lawyer just because I am.

Here’s a biochemistry book - read chapter 1 - the exam is tomorrow.

Kicking the “deplorables” around occasionally will just have to suffice since Amendment XIII is the law.

“How about a 2A exemption???”

That’s gone too.To carry a firearm legally in Connecticut you are required to get a permit after a long background check and Log guns and “Assault Rifles” you can’t posses without them being registered with the State Police and all of that crap is Not inexpensive either.
