Hopefully Hrafi hasn’t been liking Salamanders as some can be toxic;) If his bloodwork is normal it’s not anemia, that’s good. I’m pretty sure the first vet(s) would have listened to his heart.
Some dogs can lose pigment just as from aging. It’s called vitiligo and can begin in the oral mucosa. It is harmless
This can be on the skin or fur, but generally not intermittently. (People can have this too, but dogs don’t suffer from vanity so they don’t care.)

Dr. Pol frequently diagnoses pale lips as a sign of internal bleeding. Of course, that’s after he, an experienced vet, sees and diagnoses the animal.

My youngest daughter watches Dr. Pol. The show has made me so happy that we never got any farm animals, not even a chicken.

The covid restrictions stuff was really hard on me but now it’s hurting my dog and that is intolerable.”

Matthew 10:29-31 (paraphrase): “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you [and Hrafi] are worth more than many sparrows.”
Lord Jesus: We pray this day with our dear friend Shari and her precious dog Hrafi. Guide them both by your Holy Spirit through this tumultuous time. May your peace go with them both and may your mercy and loving kindness follow Hrafi into the vet’s examining room.
Grip this vet by your Holy Spirit to attend and care for Hrafi as if Hrafi was his own children’s pet on the examining table and bless Shari with peaceful discernment and direction as she seeks your guidance on Hrafi’s behalf.
