Court Forces Christian Baker to Make Cakes Celebrating a Transgender ‘Transition’

Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, has been fighting to defend his religious freedom since 2012.

DENVER, Colorado, June 17, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — According to a Colorado district court ruling, Christian cakeshop owner Jack Phillips will be forced to bake cakes celebrating transgender ideology.

This new ruling, published Wednesday, is only the most recent development as Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop fights to defend his religious freedoms.

In 2012, a homosexual couple requested that Phillips make them a cake celebrating their “wedding.” Being a Christian, Phillips refused to compromise his belief that marriage is between one man and one woman.

The homosexuals took him to court and sued for his refusal to participate in their “wedding.” The district judge ruled that Phillips be forced to relinquish his religious beliefs and make the “wedding” cake.

Rather than compromise, Phillips decided to stop making wedding cakes altogether, despite the fact that this was nearly half of his shop’s income. He continued to fight the ruling, taking the case to the Supreme Court.

In 2018, the Supreme Court overruled the former ruling and determined that forcing Phillips to create the cake was a violation of the First Amendment.

Christians need to turn the tables on their opponents, because their opponents want Christians dead.

So why is the previous SCOTUS ruling not the precedence here?
Same point being made...

I am guessing the Court made some sort of ruling that the previous SC ruling applied to Homo’s. Not, Trannies, Lesbo’s, or any other deviant variant the left can concoct on a moment’s notice.

IIRC, the previous ruling dealt with a procedural matter, not substantive. It kicked the matter back down to the government to follow its own procedures and I believe the state just let the matter drop. I don’t know whether this ruling is procedural or substantive.

Of course, the irony is that many liberal businesses can refuse to do business with conservative people and businesses (e.g., Facebook, banks, event venues) but conservative businesses can’t refuse liberal demands for service.

“In response to this ruling, Catholic Vote tweeted,

“See how this works? If you are a major corporation like Twitter, Salesforce, the NCAA, or MLB, you can refuse to do business with anyone you like — even an entire state.

But conscientious small business owners must be destroyed until they surrender.””

Just make the price prohibitive, then see how they react. Yes sir/it/they, that will be $2,000. Put your money where your immorality is stupid clowns.

This violates at least three constitutional rights. Any judge ordering such a patently wrong ruling should be removed from the bench !

This transist heresy isn’t just another old heresy questioning the divine nature of Christ.

It’s a new heresy that questions both the nature of human beings, and the ability of our God-given senses to tell us what is real and what is made up.

If a private business can be compelled like this, how can twitter, youtube and amazon be allowed to refuse their customers?

There may be a bright side to this after all.

See my tag line, folks. These leftists demand the time again like in the Roman empire when Christians were burned alive to light the games at Colliseum. It is inevitable. History is replete with examples of this happening.

So, isn’t demanding a man create cakes against his religion now definitely unconstitutional? The minute the Supremes validated homo marriage, it was the law of the land. Yet Christian values hold no weight?

This violates at least three constitutional rights.

As if that matters anymore. We are in the Post-Constitutional US.

What are the damages they are actually suing for? Sounds like the trannies have no standing.
