The Most Reverend Bishop Thomas John Paprocki of the American Diocese of Springfield in Illinois has used Canon Law to literally set aside Bergoglio's demonic attack on the Holy Mass according to its ancient use. At the same time other bishops are being punitive and acting to or more than to this wretched document such as the Bishop of Wagga Wagga in Australia, Mark Edwards, "'The Extraordinary Form of our Mass, also called the Traditional Latin Mass, is to be phased out in the Catholic Church. Pope Francis asks each bishop to decide how the Missale Romanum of 1962 is to be used for celebration of Mass in the diocese for which he has care. However, the Holy Father instructs that it must be in such a way as to lead us all to celebrate Holy Mass as revised by St Paul VI."
Is this the unity that Bergoglio sought? "Bishop against bishop, cardinal against cardinal," the words of Our Most Blessed Mother Mary to Sister Agnes Sasagawa at Akita, Japan.
Bishop Paprocki is a Shepherd, Edwards is a hireling. Bergoglio is a demon.

That’s utter baloney. If this were really about Bergoglio trying to lead “us all” to the missal of Paul VI, there’d be analogous attempts to shut down the various Byzantine/Greek/Eastern missals as well as the Anglican Use, Ambrosian, Dominican etc.
This about a lot things:
1. Formalizing a rejection of B16’s Summorum Pontificum that began the very day that is issued, 7/7/2007.
2. Shutting down a cohort of the Church that is young, energetic and growing.
3. Shutting down and retaliating against the right flank of the Church by a leftist Pope.
4. Attempting to neutralize said right flank to remove it from the battle that’s coming over the changes pressed by the Germans. This is what Bergoglio hints at in his letter when he claims that the TLM crowd “blocks the path” of the Church. We’re an obstacle to his revolution.
Paprocki is taking a different approach than most of the bishops. He’s asserting his authority over all masses in his diocese.
Hopefully the courage of one will stoke the courage of more. Not many will take this route but a few is better than none.

HA! He should make them ALL Latin Masses. That should be done everywhere.
Again, let it be asked: how many divisions does Bergoglio have?
He read the document and complied with it.
I recommend all concerned Catholics forward Bishop Paprocki’s letter to their own respective bishops for their “discernment” in how to “accompany” their “peripheries” who have “migrated” to the Traditional Latin Mass.
He cites Canon 87 as does Cordileone in SF and Vasa in Santa Rosa. Many of the Bishops do not want to have this fight and don't like the PF power play in their diocese. Beyond that some do not wish to do spiritual violence to their people.

I have been to Wagga Wagga. Has a coffee at Oz’s firsr “McCafe” It is on the way to Mt Kusciusko and Yarangobilly cave. That was a fun trip.
