I relish reading the KJV. It reads much easier for me. I don’t recall reading the Bible as a child/teenager as we were Catholics and read the Missal in church. It was only as an adult I cracked open a Bible and it was the KJV. I do own several versions and I find it needed when speaking or writing with others....
It seems that when trying to ‘translate/adapt’ from KJV to any other version, something is lost....
The KJV would actually be a great tool in teaching children or adults how to read as it does cause for the mind to work on applying it.
