In this blistering segment of a TV panel discussion, the great Spanish traditionalist Miguel Ayuso expresses, more succinctly than one will find it anywhere else, the basic difficulties thoughtful Catholics have with the last Council in its origins, execution, and results.

1.) If Francis and other Vat II proponents, popes or not, declared something in opposition to what was taught pre-Vatican II to be truth, and they have, then they are going against Jesus Christ, Sacred Scripture, Pope St. Peter, St. Paul, Sacred Tradition, innumerable popes, Councils, etc. Thus Francis and the Vat II crowd have behaved as if truth is relative and changes when it cannot:

For example. 1 Cor. 6:9-10, Gal.5:19-21, John 20:23 and 1 John 1:9 are binding for 1 Cor. 11:27, for all time, as to who may or may not receive the Eucharistic host, but the Vatican II crowd like Francis are defying this.

2.) Vatican II facilitated the heretical Nostra Aetate to make Christ-denying Islam palatable and John XXIII altered the Good Friday Prayer, thus bringing an attack upon Christ’s own words in Jn. 8:21-24 which declared faithlessness on the Jews part would damn them:

[21] Again therefore Jesus said to them: I go, and you shall seek me, and you shall die in your sin. Whither I go, you cannot come.*
[22] The Jews therefore said: Will he kill himself, because he said: Whither I go, you cannot come? [23] And he said to them: You are from beneath, I am from above. You are of this world, I am not of this world. [24]. John XXIII’s move was a capitulation similar to the one that Pope St. Peter might have committed had he not stood against it and refuted it in Acts 4:12 which bolstered Christ’s words.

Vatican II allowed Protestantism to gain a foothold by going against the 6th as well as the 19th Ecumenical Council which declared Luther to be a heretic (which cannot be abrogated, declared the Latin Mass also cannot be abrogated, etc). Vat II also allowed bishops to behave chaotically and for decades now there has been rock and roll or hip hop music playing during many Masses, scantily-clad women or priests dancing or acting silly during Masses (which is a solemn time to reflect upon the price Jesus paid at Golgotha and to receive the True Presence) a teaching all but abandoned by Vatican II adherents even though this truth was taught by Christ and has always been taught from Sacred Scripture on and declared to be true in Ecumenical councils, by numerous popes, etc.

Now we see paganism being brought in the church via Pachamama, Pachamama monstrances, etc, with all of the aforementioned being an outgrowth of religious indifferentism being promoted by Vatican II saying man is free to choose any religion he deems true in the light of his own conscience and reason and through it obtaining salvation, which is refuted by Mt. 7:14, 16:16-18, Jn. 10:7-9, 14:6, the Council of Trent, Pope Pius the 9th in the Syllabus of Errors, with these stances agreed with by innumerable popes in between that time period. For A-C, if the vast ensemble of the pre-Vat II church was in error concerning it, how can we trust the johnny-come-lately’s of Vat II who behave as if there was no church before them?

3.) Their declaration that the TLM is a matter of discipline and can be changed is mere word and game playing on their part as they defy the aforementioned Sacred Scripture while lying that they advance a hermeneutic of continuity as they attempt to rip apart Councils. They have a hermeneutic of continuity but not one that extends back past Vat II and have never proven otherwise (though the burden of proof is upon them to do so).

The 6th Ecumenical Council at Constantinople (680-681): Forbade the faithful to take the Sacred Host in their hand, threatening transgressors with excommunication.

The Council of Trent (1545-1565): “The fact that only the priest gives Holy Communion with his consecrated hands is an Apostolic Tradition.”

These councils are binding upon all Catholics, popes included.
