Mary certainly faded into obscurity throughout the NT as far as the operation things of salvation. You’d think a central figure so important to the operation of the Church would be front and center in theology throughout the Epistles, but the opposite is the case.
Mary didn’t “give Christ his body,” as many Catholics contend. Christ TOOK upon Himself a body of flesh. He was the initiator from start to finish. He needed no “permission.”
Things like that are so obvious. The whole cult of Mary is built on such a rotten, flimsy edifice. The other one that always amuses me is when Jesus said AS CLEAR AS DAY “Call no man father” and yet the whole “thing” of calling priests father. They have to conjure up all kind of illogical mumbo jumbo to explain away doing the dead opposite Jesus’s simple and direct comnand.
