For standing up for unborn babies’ right to life, Malta is being accused of cruelty toward women.
In a report Monday, Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner Dunja Mijatovic demanded that Malta legalize abortion on demand and curtail conscience rights for pro-life medical workers, according to the Malta Independent.
“It is time for the authorities to repeal provisions criminalizing abortion, develop comprehensive regulation of women’s access to legal and safe abortion and improve the availability of sexual and reproductive health services,” Mijatovic wrote.
She likened Malta’s protections for unborn babies to torture and claimed its pro-life laws deny women basic human rights.
Mijatovic also advocated for restricting the conscience rights of medical workers who refuse to abort unborn babies. According to the Independent, her report called for “safeguarding access to health care in the light of refusals to provide care on grounds of conscience.”
The Maltese government quickly rejected Mijatovic’s recommendations. Responding to her report, the nation’s leaders affirmed their support for sexual and reproductive health services but rejected the notion that these services include an “intrinsic right” to abort an unborn baby, according to Malta Today.

None of them ever care about the cruelty of murdering babies.
It is good that Malta is standing up for innocent little preborn babies instead of sacrificing innocent little babies like Ireland decided to.

Malta has been one of the most invaded islands in the world. The people, like their language, are basically a mixture of Sicilian and Arab.
Maltese seem to be mostly what we would now call Italian and Spanish.
Notable ethnic Maltese descendants included Pete Buttigieg and CIA asset anti-Trumper Joesef Mifsud.
These people are either ignorant about or deceitful about the consequences of abortion for women. Some are injured internally and will never be able to successfully complete a pregnancy. Some die. More common is Post-Abortion Syndrome, the psychologically after effects of abortion: Depression, substance abuse, nightmares, suicidal ideation and attempts, some successful, PTSD symptoms at the sound of a vacuum.
Women REGRET their abortions. Abortion hurts women. Pregnancy doesn’t “torture” the woman, her scarred conscience tortures her.
Post-Abortion Syndrome is one of the most covered-up subjects by our corrupt media and liberals, the supposed champions of “women” and “children”. Same coverup dynamic now taking place in the hiding of/non-coverage of vaccine deaths and injuries.
Abortion was a crime against humanity at the Nuremberg trials; my, how Europe has changed. The Axis lost WWII on the battlefield; the Nazis won in hearts and minds of Western leadership.
