Liberal Jesuit Catholic priest Father James Martin has come under fire for appearing to defend puberty blockers in children who identify as transgender.
Martin, who serves as an editor-at-large for the Jesuit publication America Magazine and who also starred in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, and boasts over 305,000 Twitter followers took criticism this week when he appeared to challenge Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s assertions that “sex-change operations and puberty blockers prescribed to kids is ‘child abuse’ under Texas law.”
Father Martin, who has clashed with the Catholic Church’s position on same-sex relations and transgenderism, then shared a letter from the Texas Pediatric Society that supported puberty blockers in children as a suicide preventative.

The Jesuit order has devolved into a cabal of agnostic perverts. It also appears that a Catholic Church in Harlem is distributing crack pipes and drug paraphernalia to the surrounding mostly black community.
The Catholic Church needs to be purged of the evil men who have permeated it.
Fr James Martin is Jesuit and well known sexual pervert. Of course he would support sexually abusing underage children.

I saw that flick. It’s a stretch to say that Fr Jimmy “starred” in the movie. He had a very minor role as a parish priest doing a baptism or two. And, frankly, he was terrible in the part. His Latin pronunciation was so horribly bad that he wasn’t believable as an old school priest.
I’ve done battle with “Fr.” Martin a few times on Twitter and am pleased to say he has blocked me. The man is a heretic and a few other things I’m sure. He will get his just reward that will not be of this world.
Anyone that defends that is a pedo.

I’d be very surprised if he’s ever said the TLM. It’d be very unusual for a Jesuit of his age (61), ordained in 1999, to have been trained in the TLM or have had any interest in learning it later. I checked his bio, and he went to public high school, so it’s highly possible that he’s never even taken basic Latin, hence his extremely stilted pronunciation in that movie. Having gone to a Catholic high school in the ‘50s, Scorsese himself is probably far more of a Latinist and TLM expert than Martin.
