Federal Judge Stops US Navy from Violating Religious Beliefs of 4,000 Sailors Opposed to COVID Shot

All 4,000 Navy members seeking a religious exemption to the abortion-tainted jab have been granted a temporary reprieve.

FORT WORTH, Texas (LifeSiteNews) — A federal district court judge in Texas issued a preliminary injunction preventing the Navy from requiring 4,000 service members to take abortion-tainted COVID jabs.

Judge Reed O’Connor issued a preliminary injunction on Monday against the Department of Defense (DOD) jab mandate. He previously stopped the DOD from enforcing it against dozens of Navy SEALs in a January 3 ruling.

The ruling covers the 3,320 active-duty sailors and 864 reserve sailors who have religious objections to the COVID vaccines. The Navy has approved zero religious exemption requests.

The Pentagon argued it undertook a case-by-case review of each request, but the judge dismissed this and pointed out that no exemptions were granted and that it used a form letter.

“While the [standard operating procedure] touts ‘case-by-case review,’ it calls for pre-drafted denial letters,” Judge O’Connor wrote. “Perhaps the Navy actually weighed each applicant’s beliefs and circumstances. But granting none of 4,095 religious accommodation requests suggests otherwise.”

The ruling gives “class certification” to all members of the Navy who object to the vaccine on religious grounds, which means that each individual sailor would not have to file a lawsuit over a denial.

The ruling allows the sailors to sue for First Amendment and Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) violations. RFRA requires a government entity to prove that violating someone’s religious belief satisfies both a “compelling government interest” and is the “least restrictive” way to do so.

Only 4K in the US Navy. The US is doomed when its people are ungodly and unprincipled.

The aborted fetuses be damed, I have to get a shot to keep my job and life style.

Tough one IMO.

Although the religious rights of enlisted are protected by the Constitution, a preliminary injunction against their Constitutional commanders’ current orders is a stretch.

You do that kid

Im a long time Diamond with Carnival cruise lines ...

Tomorrow I lose thousands of dollars in compensation as OBC On Board Credit for future cruises awarded to me because of all my ‘Covid Cancelled’ cruises for 2020/21 because I refuse to get jabbed ...

All I had to do to use all that loverly loot for tours or drinks or the Spa or fancy dinners or other goodies on board was to subject my body to poison ...

I already had Hong Kong flu in 1968 and the Wu Hu Flu in 2020 and have my document stating I have had the Wu Hu Flu and have great antibodies etc but Carnival doesnt care and refuses to recognize my natural immunity ...

It hurts that Carnival has changed the rules and cheated me out of all that compensation for 20 cancelled cruises at $600 a pop but they are BILLIONS in the hole and it gets worse all the time for them...

You cant cheat and mistreat God’s people without God taking notice and revenge is His after all...

Granted I really dont need the money but I did ‘earn’ it ...

Carnival refuses to offer religious exemptions for cruises out of Florida and Texas ‘a sincerely held religious belief’ they call it ...

By the time that gets changed it will be too late Tomorrow is the deadline ...

I either apply the OBC to future cruises which Carnival wont let me take or I lose all of it ...

Jabs are required for cruises till the end of this year and probably next year and 2024 ...

On their ALL jabbed cruises they are having superspreaders amongst the jabbed on every ship but they keep on doubling down with their protocols and are demanding boosters now on the first ship to be followed by others ...

Even the CDC doesnt require this ...

Its hard being treated as a second class citizen and being discriminated against and not being able to cruise but I wont be getting any of those jabs ...

The German soldiers who objected to exterminating Jews, gays, etc were probably told the same thing....”lawful orders by your constitutional commanders”....sure worked for them in their trials.

Sorry about the loss of your cruises. Best to stay away from the graphene oxide in the four experimental vaccines of Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen and Astrazeneca. If a person has received one of the vaccines, then he must take ivermectin 2x weekly to destroy the graphene oxide. That graphene oxide is brutal. Hailey Bieber had a stroke at age 25. Young people are getting major problems. And stupid politicians still push the experimental vaccines as if they are full of clean water. Yes, cruises are fun but avoiding strokes is more courageous and fun.

When I signed up for the Army, I didn’t sign up to have my religious beliefs violated. So no. A commander cannot force you to violate your religious convictions. This wouldn’t be an issue in a sane and rational world.

Yes, but they can still persecute by assigning trash duty and so forth. Allowed by the Supreme Court.

A Christian, getting the shot to save their job, shows they don’t trust God. Fear is a sin.
