Pope Francis penned a letter to the prominent, dissident pro-LGBT priest Fr. James Martin, decrying what was described as the Church's 'rejection' of 'LGBT Catholics.'

VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) – Pope Francis has written a letter to “LGBT Catholics,” delivered via dissident Jesuit priest Father James Martin, declaring that a “selective” Church is “a sect,” and decrying what he styled as the Church’s “rejection” of “LGBT Catholic[s].”

The letter was announced May 8, and published May 9 in an article written by Martin for Outreach, which is “a new LGBTQ Catholic resource” he recently set up.

Martin noted that he had himself written to Pope Francis on May 5, asking “if he would be willing to respond to a few of the most common questions that I am asked by LGBTQ Catholics and their families.”

The request took the form of “three questions,” which the Pope responded to in Spanish, addressing Martin as “brother” in the handwritten note which was delivered just three days later. (Full English text at the bottom of this article)

‘Selective’ Church is a ‘sect’

In response to Martin’s first question – “What would you say is the most important thing for LGBT people to know about God?” – Francis wrote that “God is Father and he does not disown any of his children.”

As such, “‘the style’ of God is ‘closeness, mercy and tenderness’,” said Francis. “Along this path you will find God.”

Martin had also enquired what the Argentinian Pontiff desired “LGBT people to know about the church,” to which Francis responded briefly:

It is not the activity of homosexual sex that will keep you from salvation and redemption. It is that you revel in it. Are proud of it. As a matter of fact, God himself made you that way. THAT is the stumbling block the LGBTQ+ people will have a hard time avoiding.

If they belong to a church and the church finds out, they should be offered counselling and help with their mental illness. If they refuse, give them the boot.

THAT is how you treat these people within a church.

And to think that the vast majority of the world’s Cardinals elected this man to serve as the leader of a “church.”

The Catholic church is, provably, from the top, down, infested with demented men intent on not following God.

This is not a church godly people should ever attend.

Gays have a lot of disposable income so RCINC is trying to enhance the collection plates to pay to 600$/hr. lawyers they employ to smear the reputations of persons already abused by their pedo priest employees.

RCINC is the oldest most profitable multinational corporation on the plante

For the sodomites, it’s all hugs and kisses and warmth from Bergoglio.
For the devout, the faithful and the Latin Mass attendees, it’s kicks in the teeth.
That’s where we are.

when are they going to fire him as a heretic?

having same sex attraction is not a sin.

Acting on it is.

So is adultery, fornication, child sexual abuse, lying, cheating, taking bribes, and stealing a couple million dollars from the money donated by ordinary Catholics to bribes people into not suing them for pederasty, or using it to buy huge apartment buildings in London, or investing it in a film that praises a gay musician.

But hey, that's just me. oh yes: I left out: getting paid by the ChiComs to let them take over the Catholic church in China, and not protesting when they arrest human rights activist Cardinal Zen of Hong Kong... and it's bishops like Cardinal Zen that is the reason I stay Catholic.

This was exactly how the Pharisees viewed Jesus; glad the pope was so open about his feelings.

Going against the tradition here at FR, I actually read the entire article.

Conclusion: Everyone mentioned made a very poor decision on their careers. Seems as if Satan himself is running the Catholic Church. Were I Catholic, I’d put on my best pair of running shoes.
