Speaking at the Russian Senate on May 17, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia focused on some of the most sensitive issues, including the nature of Russia’s dialogue with the West:

Back in the 18th century, Russia opened up to the West, which became a source of knowledge for us, an example for the transformation of society. Thousands of foreigners came to our country, and for many of them Russia became a second home.

At that time, cultural communication was built largely on shared Christian values. However, in modern times in the West, ideas which I believe are quite dangerous, based on the denial of Christian heritage and the acceptance of moral relativism, emerged and became widespread. Moral relativism was accepted as a basic principle in human relations.

Unfortunately, over the past centuries these ideas have only developed and have led to a revision of immutable Christian values in European society, which has led to the assertion of arrogance and pride, as well as to the destruction of trust between countries and nations.

This same Kirill is a card carrying KGB member who was on the board of the far left World Council of Churches. He preaches “Christianity” but spread Liberation Theology across the West and especially Latin America. Liberation Theology ruined Latin America and has polluted many of our own churches.

I’ve read the Gospels over many times. I’m no expert. But I can’t recall any passage that implies that you should be murdering many thousands of innocents. So, nope. I can’t see Russia as being anything special in this regard.

This case would have to be built on complete ignorance of Russia and Putin's career as well, including the long list of dead bodies he's produced, the countries he has invaded/violated, his support for Marxists across the world including China and the terror organization FARC, and the huge fortune stolen from the Russian economy making him one of the richest men in the world despite having never been anything other than a pencil pusher for the KGB.

Exactly!!! I was in El Salvador when Francisco Peccorini was assassinated by the Left for exposing Liberation Theology and fighting the takeover of higher education by the Left. Peccorini was 72 years old and a wonderful man. The FMLN and the Left never got bad treatment in the mainline American press. Other civilians who were killed for speaking out were Miguel Castellanos, a former FMLN Comandante who turned against the Left. Kirill was on the Board of the World Council of Churches, which produced materials like the below for international consumption. I've never found more than just a handful of actual sermons by Kirill himself, and all are from recent memory after his makeover:
