My kinda Pastor!
Good for him.
And he’s right about Democraps.
Pastor Locke can say whatever he wants. It’s a free country (supposedly). But he’s lumping all Democrats together as evil beings. He dead wrong about that.
But let’s say he’s right. Then maybe those Democrats need to be in a church like his. It’s a tough call. But here’s something to consider, from Matthew 9:
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.
11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Anyone who supports abortion, republican or democrat. Anyone who got the vax knowing aborted babies were involved is a questionable Christian. That will be up to God to decide.
“he renounced his tax-exempt status “
The pastor at the church we visited two weeks ago said about the same thing — dared the government to strip the church’s tax exemption — just before he gave a bold anti-abortion sermon. He even showed on a big screen that pic of the baby reaching out from the mother’s womb and grabbing the surgeon’s finger. Powerful.
Why does he have to give up the church’s tax exemption? Anyone who doesn’t agree with him isn’t forced to go to his church. The Scriptures are very clear about how precious life is. Human sacrifices are not permitted in the Bible, even if they’re permitted in the secular world. Where’s that church’s freedom of religion if they can now be taxed?
He’s absolutely correct. I wish I lived in Tennessee.
One cannot be an active Christian and an active Democrat. The two are simply mutually incompatible. Period.
Gonna send that boy some money. Praise Jesus.
Yep.
Investigate what? The church can do what it wants. If the parishioners dont like it they can leave. Freedom of association.
I’m sorry , a political affiliation Is Not a protected class.
Republicans have been kicked out of many of venues and no one gave a rats ass in the press.
i’d agree with him if he had said uniparty (there are plenty of gope abortion supporters).
still, God protect him because he may catch some flak even in God Lovin’ TN.
He doesn’t need to have a registered 501c3 to be tax exempt. The State doesn’t have the right to tax the Church, it’s already in the law and was the case at our founding, prior to any agency known as the “IRS”. Even the 501c3 law states “EXCEPT CHURCHES”.
This has been used to muzzle the Church for too long.
Why should he renounce his tax exemption?
I see lots of churches involved in politics and they don’t tax taxes either.
My bad. They’re black churches supporting liberals.
Trump wanted to rescind the Johnson Amendment, but it did not get done. Had he done it, Biden would have reinstated it anyway:

PREACH IT, SIR!!!!!!
I knew I recognize the pastors name but couldn’t remember anything about him. Anyway search him on the Internet and find out for your self what type of preacher he is. I kind of think of him as some one who goes to the extreme to get attention.
Doesn’t he know about the law that prohibits anyone but DemocRats from politicking in churches?
Two comments. First a church is under 501c3 without having irs letter.
Second, John the Baptist was far more critical.
As a pastor, I assume that my teaching and preaching the Word causes people to be convicted of their sins, causes them to hear the holy spirit in their daily lives and encourages them to renounce satan and all his works including abortion.
If I only preach to those who are not sinners, especially unrepentant sinners, how will they know? What good are my sermons if they don’t change hearts and minds?
Do I only preach to those who are well and not to the sick?
