Were I Catholic, I would repent for thinking the Holy Spirit could possibly have wanted Cardinal Bergoglio as the Holy Father. Since I have more than enough to repent for in my own life on a continuing basis, I will leave it there.

Pope Francis isn't the first bad pope and probably won't be the last. God works in mysterious ways. Major reforms often follow the reigns of awful popes. That's how it works.
