Synod on Synodality participants in Luxembourg also expressed that 'the Church must acknowledge her errors and question herself.'
LUXEMBOURG (LifeSiteNews) – The Catholic Church should be open to homosexual “marriage” and female preachers according to participants in the diocesan phase of the Synod on Synodality in the Archdiocese of Luxembourg.
The results of a diocese-wide survey containing suggestions on what the Church should do according to thousands of Luxembourgish Catholics was released on July 5 in a 37-page report. About 4,590 of the estimated 439,000 Catholics in Luxembourg participated in the synodal process.
The report was prepared by a two-person team, and it was noted that not many participants expressed beliefs “against the acceptance of the divorced and remarried … the acceptance of homosexuality, and the abolition of priestly celibacy.”
The document is organized into sections entitled “Communion,” “Participation,” and “Mission,” with each section containing three subsections entitled “Towards the future,” “Diocese,” and “The Universal Church.”
Under the Universal Church subsection in the Communion section, the documents states: “The Church needs a change of view on homosexuality, to open up to marriage for all.”
Furthermore, the same section adds that the “obligation of celibacy for priests” must be changed as well.
Respondents expressed their concern about the role of women in the Church and suggested that the “service of preaching” be open to female and male laypeople.
It was also written that “the Church must acknowledge her errors and question herself.”

No one is stopping them from being Protestant.
They think the world revolves around them.
Sad.
The Catholi Church will be ruined by communism and wokeism.
They already are.
“ They already are”
Yes. They are.
That’s like demanding the Church open up to satanism.
There’s the door. Get lost
The Luxembourg Synod wants to throw out the Bible, how about that.
Luxembourgers loved thems some Hitler during WWII.
They were occupied like most of Europe. Does everything have to be a cheap shot?
“Luxembourgers loved thems some Hitler during WWII.”
Actually, a lot of them did not. As you know it’s a tiny country yet there are over 300 monuments to Allied soldiers in Luxembourg. I’ve visited some of them and attended color guard ceremonies. Gen Patton is buried in Luxembourg, along with 5,700 allied soldiers. Got to hang out with Luxembourgers who brought Patton’s granddaughter to speak to a dinner attended by American WWII vets during their celebration of the 65th anniversary of D Day. I was in attendance with my father, who fought through there under Patton. One American soldier on the trip had dinner with the family whose barn he was captured in by the Germans. Most Luxembourgers love and honor Americans. Dad went to a hotel one night only to find it was full. The manager noticed his WWII vet hat and asked, “Are you an American veteran?” Dad answered yes, and the manager said, “We are full but I am giving you and your wife my manager’s room tonight, at no cost.”
By the way, there are two perfectly restored American tanks in the main square in Bastogne. There’s also a bust of Colonel Anthony McAuliffe, who famously answered “Nuts” to the German demand of surrender. Fresh flowers adorn the Bust and the tanks each morning.
They were ruined centuries ago with their unbiblical teachings.
Well, they did help Nazis escape justice after the war.
If that is what you all want:
START YOUR OWN CHURCH and leave other people to what they want.
Anyone still think Sodom and Gamorrah wasn't a real place ?
Immorality is growing stronger every year, the sexual deviants are demanding our children and children of the church!
Only a fool can't see this and realize Satan is destroying people, moving them further from God.
NO!!!!!! GO BE A METHODIST!!
True enough.
