What’s interesting is that when God sent the plagues on Egypt, they each targeted a specific god that the Egyptians worshipped.
Looking at what the world is focused on and obsessed over, and the different judgments listed in the book of Revelation, you can see a similar pattern. The different judgments the angels pour out affect things that our world is currently worshipping, genetic manipulation, technology, climate, Mother Earth nonsense, etc.
