What no one can understand is now that Michigan’s horrendous Proposal 3 passed and is enshrined in the Michigan Constitution, they have solidified all the rights and protections they could want for abortions and abortionists.
Existing laws to protect women patients are now obsolete. You don’t even have to be an MD (just a health professional like a podiatrist) to perform a legal abortion now. Used to be an MD with current hospital admission credentials.
Can’t be protested, can’t be prosecuted if abortionist makes medical malpractice mistake, can’t have hygienic standards of clinics examined, can’t impede a young girl from her abortion by informing her parents in advance.
Money can’t go to places that educate and counsel women about choosing to have their baby. No longer money to help couples who adopt children (they used to get a small stipend). And much more.
Their side won.
So now it is mere BULLYING.
I would call it terrorism.
