First, it was MAGA hats; now it is “Jesus Saves.” A person in America should be free to wear a t-shirt promoting Islam, the BLM movement, or even bearing a pro-LGBTQ message if they wish. And so should people who wear shirts that say “Jesus Saves.”

I think the “problem” with the shirt is that it crossed out the “Coexist” logo.

This is not a 1A issue. The 1A only protects you from government oppression. It does not protect you from oppression by private individuals.

If anything, this is a property rights issue. The Mall of America is private property. In general, owners of private property get to set their own rules.

Ah, but there could be a catch. The federal government prohibits discrimination based on religion. It’s a long shot, but the guy might have a case there.
