Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Let every valley be exalted, and every mountain and hill made low; may the crooked be made straight, and the rough places plain. And may Your glory be revealed anew, that all flesh may see it together. For You act for the one who waits in faith for You.
We are fully undeserving of Jesus, Father, but our hearts are full of Joy because He lives this day. He reigns at Your right hand. He is our risen Lord. How blessed we are just to remember His marvelous birth and to celebrate His life. Father, we are grateful for so great a Love, so great a Gift.
We grow weary of talks of discord, of disunity, of disregard for our borders, of opposition to the Constitution, of hatred, and more unnecessary spending. Father, we pray for wisdom for our leaders; but above all, we ask for You to give them the desire to be obedient to You and to be responsible in that which You have entrusted them. Help them to be good stewards of the money diligently earned by the hard work of the citizens of this country. Lord, raise up for us righteous leaders who will not change when they arrive in Washington, but will stay true to You and to Your teachings. Lord, may each of us be willing to share the goodness, the blessings, and the love that we have received from You, for truly they are precious blessings. May we pass them on with joy and gladness, for Your gifts were meant to be shared.
Father, our troops are so precious to us and we know they are highly favored by You. Make them to dwell in the shadow of Your wings, Lord and keep them as the apple of Your eye. We want each one who is deployed to return to their home and family unharmed at the appointed time. Grant special mercies and aid to those who wait for them, Lord.
Father, may justice be upheld in the investigations of wrongdoing regarding government documents. We pray that every important document would be carefully guarded and that those who would abuse them would be punished.
Lord, may this be a week of unity, blessing, righteousness, and victory in our government this week, that we may rejoice in You and You alone. Only You are worthy of all glory honor, praise, and blessing. May Your Name be exalted over all the earth. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
