[Catholic Caucus] Cardinal McElroy Has A Problem with the Sixth Commandment

San Diego homosexualist Robert McElroy thinks that it is a "16th century notion" that all sexual sins are mortal sins. Christ, the Gospels and the Apostles date even from the first century, not to mention the Old Testament.

Responding to criticism of his call for “radical inclusion” [that excludes Catholics] in AmericaMagazine.org (February 3), McElroy contradicted Church’ teaching by saying that “I don’t think that’s a good part of the Catholic moral tradition” [that sexual mortal sins are called sexual mortal sins].

At least, he admits that “there is sinfulness in all its various forms in our sexual lives.” And, “all I’m saying is that in the Christian moral life, they don’t automatically represent mortal sin.” It "doesn't fit" for McElroy that sexual sins cut off the relationship with God.

Denying modern reality, he romanticises that sex is something "profound", not something "casual.”

McElroy claims that "we have cast violations for which you need to not go to the Eucharist, or need to go to confession first, largely in terms of sexual things.” Again, he is out of touch with reality, since confession is largely gone in the Novus Ordo Church and Communion is picked up as if it were a biscuit, even by Muslims.

After making so many unqualified judgments, a judgmental McElroy pontificated that “judgmentalism is the worst sin in the Christian life.”

The utter depravity of these weirdos probably needs to be talked about. I don’t think that ordinary people, those who haven’t seen this stuff through law enforcement or medicine or at least the Culture Wars, have any idea. No, ladies, really, not joking, your hairdresser has taken more in his backside than the most depraved porn star in the world. It’s probably not anywhere near close.

Everything that your great grandparents thought about these freaks was right and then some.

The question for Christians... Whom do you trust on this? Bobby McElroy or St. Paul?

“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men” 1 Corinthians 6:0

Just go straight to Aleister Crowley’s Church of Thelema: “Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.”

Just like you’re going end up in real trouble if you let other people interpret the Constitution for you, you’re likewise going to be in big trouble if you let other people interpret the Holy Bible for you.

In fact, regardless that Jesus’ Apostles were at least aware of scriptural prophecy concerning Messiah from synagogue readings of scripture, it remains that the Holy Spirit led Luke to write the following.

in Luke 24:45 we learn that regardless that the Apostles had witnessed Jesus fulfilling scriptural prophecies that proved he is Messiah, it remains that they still didn’t connect what they had witnessed with fulfilled prophecy until Jesus opened their their minds to the scriptures after his Resurrection.

In fact, 1 Corinthians 1:18 warns that if you reject Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then Jesus’ crucifixion isn’t going to make sense to you (my wording).

Soooo, everybody is going to heaven...

According to him, everybody will go to Heaven except traditional Catholics. Thankfully, he is mistaken about the address of Heaven. The place he is referring to is quite a bit warmer.

‘According to him, everybody will go to Heaven”........If this is his true belief, then why is there any need for the Church; why is there any need to proclaim the gospel? Hummmm!!

The term "commandment" is so judgmental. Maybe it should be known as the Sixth Suggestion.

(The 6th Commandment by Catholic count is what Protestants call the 7th Commandment...but probably everyone knows that.)
