They want a totalitarian system where they are in charge or at least are part of the ruling elite.

True. But right now this bunch of extreme and paranoid egoists are able to channel their paranoia and secret hatred of each other onto the common enemy: the world's population that is to be dominated, decimated, and controlled in every aspect of their lives.

However, if and when these paranoid monsters attain to absolute power their secret hatred of each other will come into play because there can only be one 'god-man.' So like paranoid outlaw gun-fighters they will pick each other off.

I don't think these monsters trying to take over the world will co-exist in a single, happy, unified group until the dictatorship takes over.

They are already jockeying for power amongst themselves, each using the other only as much as they have to.

Each of them has delusions of grandeur. Each thinks he will be the ubermensch who leads this new world order.

As you say, there can only be one...but the battle to be the "one" has already begun. It's just that we ants down here on the ground can't see it.

BTW, we can add China and Xi to the list.
