“How about some human sacrifices? Go all the way!/s”
Agreed! If you’re going to go for heresy why do it half way?

How about evidence rather than rumor and innuendo.

No, we’re the church that you bastardized all of your beliefs, traditions and the scriptures from and then have the audacity to spit on us and say we’re not Christian.

Some of the Baal practices were pretty cool. Add those, too.

The Christmas Holiday as we know it is based on Yule, a Northern European pagan celebration of the Winter Solstice.
Easter is based on the Spring celebration of (again) Northern Europe that celebrates the end of Winter and warmer temperatures.

No. Places that had some of that culture adopted some of the outer trappings (Christmas trees and the word “Easter”).
That's not the holidays. Christmas was set as the birthday of Christ by the 3rd century or earlier. Easter (Pascha) was always set at Passover.
Both have nothing to do with the solstices. IMO thinking that people were concerned with winter is one of the odd ideas associated with these holidays. Ancient people had been accurately predicting the solstices for many thousands of years before Christ was born.
