The Catholic churches throughout most of Central and South America already do this.

Also, many villages have a single lady who has “the son of the priest.”

What about alter sacrifices and ripping hearts out of bodies? Did the good “bishop” forget that?

Many Christian holidays and rituals are based in non-Christian religions as it is.
This is likely a way to have more of a compromise and include local tradition.

Christians holidays (Christmas, Easter) just made opportunistic use of the then-dominant holidays. So the meaning of the holidays is solidly based in the faith, and just the outward trappings of the non-Christian holidays were adopted.

So Latin is out and pagan is in. Sounds like a church that is denying its roots and embracing something that is incompatible with it.

If the Roman Catholic Church is embracing pagan rituals then it's hardly "denying its roots." :-)

Any pagan ritual will be accepted by Satan’s Pope because the Conciliar Church headquartered in the Vatican will encourage it and approve it. Fruit of the Satan Council (Vatican 1962-1965).

Christmas and Easter are based on nothing pagan , Christmas is based on the date of Christ’s conception and Easter is based on Passover.

Incorporate some Druid orgies, while you’re at it, and the Sioux’s sun dance with the leather stitched into the flesh tied by cords to a poll, and the dancing around ‘til it’s ripped loose. Or how about that Masonic stuff, too. WTF./s
